THIS EVENT IS FOR EDUCATORS
Climate Change is a challenging subject for educators to tackle, both in terms of content and implementation. Gain confidence in teaching this important, yet abstract concept with the support of the Science Museum, Climate Generation, and Read Brave Saint Paul team members. Participate in a hands-on climate change activity, and share your insights as to how it could best fit in your classroom.
Before the training, we will screen "Minnesota Stories in a Changing Climate." Climate change is real, and it’s impacting Minnesota today. This documentary shares six stories from a diverse group of Minnesotans experiencing climate change first-hand and provides context from climate experts. Produced with Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy and Climate Minnesota and TPT.
Saint Paul Public Schools teachers: this is a PAID training opportunity. Register in PDExpress for LIB: 24 Hours of Reality: Read Brave Educator Workshop [LIB1916-FALL].
