Tinker Tuesday: Zentangles & Tesselations

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Zentangles are a way to practice focus and meditation through drawing repetitive lines, marks, circles and shapes. A tessellation is when we cover a surface with a pattern of flat shapes so that there are no overlaps or gaps.

Participants will discuss and look at examples and practice together. Use existing designs, or create your own!

All registrants will be able to pick up a kit with drawing materials. You must register to receive a kit, but you can also attend using your own materials. Email with your preferred branch for kit pickup by Wednesday, February 10th. If we do not hear from you by February 10th, kits will need to be picked up at George Latimer Central Library during Library Express hours. We will email you when the kits are sent out.

This program will be online via Microsoft Teams. We will email you the link 24 hours before the program.

This activity is appropriate for families with school-aged children to do together.

Zentangles and Tesselations
is part of the Winter Wellness series.
