Teen Writers' Guild w/ local author: Greg Watson

6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Dayton's Bluff

Saint Paul poet, Greg Watson, will be here to talk about writing and share about his process. We will have time to ask questions throughout.

Greg Watson’s work has appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies, and has been nominated for Best of the Net, and the Pushcart Prize. He is the author of nine collections of poetry, most recently The Sound of Light. He is also co-editor with Richard Broderick of The Road by heart: poems of fatherhood.

A Note from Greg…

So often I am surprised by those poems which seem to have had the most effect on readers... So a good reader is essential. A good reader is also a teacher, opening doors to psyche and spirit, just as the poet has attempted to do through his or her work. Certainly I have discovered layers in my own work through the eyes of others.
