The Library is teaming up with Ordway to offer events and activities for Flint Hills Family Festival! 

Saturday Vibe: Outdoor Storytime: 11am-12pm

Gather with us outdoors on the side lawn along Washington Street for 30-minutes of playful stories, rhymes, songs about summer & picnics! Stay longer for water play on the lawn or narrative play in our Play & Learn indoor area. Recommended for ages 0-6 with their grown-ups. We'll move indoors in the case of rain.

Button Collage and Chalk Walk: 10am-4pm

Flip through some of our withdrawn materials to create your own wearable masterpiece! This project combines our collections with the art of collage, and is great for ages 6-12. Or, decorate our library using an array of paintbrushes and chalk paints. Dance your way across the floor and see what shapes your body makes! Write your favorite book of the summer or leave a picture for a friend!
