After hearing so many good things about this movie, I must confess I could not proceed after the first 10 minutes. I found it's humor dull, overdone, and sophomoric (pun not intended).

Fun, entertaining 1980's classic.

This timeless classic marks the peak of John Hughes' efforts. A charismatic cast with a fun script.

VERY GOOD 1986 film written, co-produced and directed by John Hughes. Fine cast all around. I particularly enjoyed Jeffrey Jones as Edward R. Rooney, the school principal who is whackilly compelled to confront Ferris.

1995 TOP NOTCH teen- adult comedy. Poor Mr. Rooney, the principal. He keeps trying to outsmart Ferris but he can't. Great scene with Charlie Sheehan. DRUGS?

Perhaps one of the funniest films ever made; this is a true classic. The thing that amazed me about Ferris was his ability to dodge any obstacle that could come his way. That's what makes this movie so memorable and hysterical. Years after I first saw this in the theatre, I still find myself uttering the classic lines from 1986... "Bueller? Bueller?" Definite must see!!

Hilarious, Matthew Broderick's best movie next to War Games!

A really good, really funny movie about a high-schooler who fakes illness in order to skip school. The best part is anything with the principal. Not for kids but very worth a watch.

Horrible! This movie is over-rated. The whole movie is nothing more than a self-centered teenager manipulating his friends to go along with his every whim, all the while using as much foul language per minute as possible as if it’s supposed to make him somehow “cool” or “mature”. I didn’t like it when it was new and I was the age of the characters, and I still don’t like it.

This eighties gem still shines from beginning to end.

It's not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Isms in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon: 'I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me.' Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I'd still have to bum rides off of people.

"If anybody needs a day off, it's Cameron. He's got a lot of things to sort out before he graduates. He can't be wound up this tight and go to college. His roommate'll kill him. Pardon my French, but Cameron is so uptight, if you stuck a lump of coal up his a*s, in two weeks, you'd have a diamond."

Coarse Language: The CONSTANT foul language is obnoxious and makes the movie more tedious to watch than the poor script alone would.
