If you are looking for an all in one dinner party book this is for you. The unique organization of the book lends to cooking whole meals. Smorgabook found the recipes to be a little bland but loved the salads and desserts. Martha takes control of your kitchen providing seasonal menus with schedules, tips and plating suggestions. The layout is unique but it lacks a narrative loved by the cookbook reader. We suggest this for the cook looking for sophisticated dinner party practice.

I love the way the menus are divided up using the seasons. The deserts are just too delicious. The lamb receipies are to die for. i made some of the dishes for my in-laws all i can say is THANK YOU MARTHA STEWART !!!

This was the express collection, so I had it only a week. Made several menus from it, all quick, all delicious, kids even liked them. I especially liked the abundant use of fruit in the desserts.
