Not bad, if you want to be president. Basically for young audiences.

As with every Bad Kitty, this book had a good mix of silly comedy and facts. This one kind of troubled me, though, because Bad Kitty was motivated to run for office because she didn't like the presence of stray cats in the neighborhood, which seemed like it could be read as a kind of gross metaphor about not wanting less fortunate people in our communities, which is a message that I just can't get behind.

My kids and I are huge Bad Kitty fans. This books has the added benefit of explaining the election process for President of the United States. Highly recommended!

My son is 6 and he didn't enjoy the book. It does give an insight on presidential election process.

Kids (and adults too) should get a kick of out this most recent Bad Kitty book which looks at the inner workings of the American electoral process. I also snickered over the introduction of a new character, Edna Prunelove, who is "the chairperson for Folks Against Revolting Themes" (clever children will love that acronym).
