This is a fun, easy read about the world of the Paladin Paksenarrion. It has all the classic fantasy elements: elves, dwarves, double crossings, mysteries & magery - all engaged in the fight between good & evil.

A wonderful return to the world of Paksenarrion and Kieri Phelan. My only complaint was that she didn't spend more time with Dorrin and the challenges of her role and her family of evil sorcerers. More! More!

Couldn't put it down. Continuation of series. Very multi-character, multi-faceted storyline pulling readers merrily along - I am so glad she has finally returned to Paksenarrion's world. As always, wonderfully developed characters, vividly written world and plotlines you think you can follow - always with a twist :)
