A married man in his early 40s, Seong-nam is an award-winning painter who, after getting busted for smoking pot with an American exchange student in Seoul, impulsively flees to Paris. Crashing in a dingy hotel run by a fellow Korean and unable to speak a lick of French, he finds himself wandering aimlessly around Paris, trapped in both his art and life. After a chance encounter with an old flame, he eventually stumbles into the emotional lives of two very different Korean expats.

A Korean artist stranded in Paris away from his wife back in short vignettes, the character tries to remain strong and devoted, and he also lets his heart and libido be pulled towards Korean women he meets in Paris. A tender film, beautifully shot on site in the streets of Paris.

Avoid this film at all costs. It will consume 2 hours of your life that you will never get back. Extremely boring and pretentious.

A lot of time spent to find out the main character is just as flawed as everyone else and an ass to boot; just like many of us are, have been and will be in matters of relationships, and will continue to deny, hide from or be oblivious to the fact that we are.

A Korean's experience to Paris' delights - art, politics and 'lámour in a most unexpected way. Unashamedly hilarious!
