I loved this series! I really appreciate the way that writers of British and Australian programs are able to portray layers of each character and demonstrate that there are very few who are all good or all bad. The brilliant doctor is a real jerk, and at the same time shows such insight into most everyone, but himself. I'm hoping Series 2 will soon be available in Region 1.

House with a British accent only less likable (is that possible?).

Interesting series especially if you enjoy medical stories or the US tv show "House". I think they are probably very similar. Too bad Series 2 is not available. We will survive but would have enjoyed watching it.

Great series. Think of it as "House" with a dose of heart and humor. Nesbitt is simply fantastic. Too bad there's only one season available. Second season was filmed and broadcast but not around on DVD.

I was hesitant to invest any time in this series, but am happy I did. A good balance of comedy, drama, romance, success, and failure to make it very entertaining. Fun stuff.

Great show. There is a second season which aired in 2012. Unfortunately it's only available in region 2 dvd format.

Too bad the BBC canceled this after only one season, but it's a fun and interesting hospital drama, with a fair dose of comedy thrown in as well. The acting, and details, as with all BBC productions is absolutely excellent.

Really good, entertaining series. It deals with the family and the medical sides of surgery and patients. Very realistic and wonderful acting. It has humour, drama, romance. I loved it! At times, I thought they spoke too fast, but with the subtitles it helped to go over the parts I've missed. I recommend it!

This is ensemble acting at it's best. James Nesbitt and Sarah Parish spar in ways that make them better at their respective specialties and better as people. Tom Riley is the glue that keeps them stuck together and adds to the connections between them.
