I give this a high rating as it did a great job bringing several issues out in the story and was not too dry as many Christian movies unfortunately are to me. The down syndrome actor was wonderful and he and the rest of the cast did a excellent job. They bring out the message of faith without preaching or being awkward.

A nice movie with some great messages. The obvious ones and the subtle ones. Enjoyed it, heartwarming

A tale centered around an alcoholic single dad, his teenage daughter and a new and unlikely friend -- a young man with Downs Syndrome known to everyone in town simply as "Produce", this story picks up years after the father's short-lived career as a major league baseball player has ended. Dad, in an attempt to deal with the sense of failure associated, turns to alcohol to solve his troubles, but finds it only ends up making more. Meanwhile, his daughter is left to deal with life virtually on her own and finds herself in situations she doesn't know how to handle and without a sense that her father can help.
But somewhere along the line, Produce becomes a confidant to Dad and his life slowly begins the journey to recovery....

Heartwarming! Gives you something to believe in. Thought it would be cheesy, but it really wasn't. Somewhat predictable- I had the ending pegged minus the twist. David DeSanctis as a young man with Down syndrome did a great job. He made it fun and makes you really want to be the best you can be.
