This is the last of the Wild Seasons full-length stories. The romance was sweet but it lacked a lot of what I'm used to in a typical CL book. What seemed to be missing was the major swoon element that normally gets me every time and makes their books a must-read. Wicked Sexy Liar felt like a typical category romance with the added cameos of previous characters from the series. I did like the surprise of who the hero ended up being. A surprise for me, anyway. It's as if everything came full circle in this group of friends, tying them all back together in order to move forward.

Regardless of that "full circle" element, the story felt like a bit of an afterthought. A sweet romance with some entertaining banter, but in the end, not a necessary inclusion for the series.

Funny-sweet and beautifully written (of course! it's CL!) with mixed sentence structures, believable dialogue, likeable/lovable characters, and of course sizzling sex scenes with lots of love in them. Luke's family is a treat; I can really relate to Gram! A welcome addition to the Wild Season Series.
Not-Joe's short story is a bonus at the end of this book. I'm hoping for more about Luke's family -- Margot deserves a book of her own.
