I did not like it as much as I liked her first book. I found it a bit young and immature.

I agree somewhat that this story is of appeal to the younger generation, but easily applies to young adults who are learning to fly with their new wings. I can remember losing a few of my hang-ups along the way to become a more independent adult, and that is what Grace does in this story. As a parent now to young adults, I appreciate seeing how point of view and correcting facts concerning a piece of family history can allow for deeper appreciation and better relationships between family members. The whole point of the book is to show how Grace's incomplete interpretation of her relationship with her sister and parents changes for the better and helps her to fly independently as an adult.

This novel should be in the Young Adult collection for it is a story for teens,
very very light, predictable and superficial. The idea of applying some rules
of grammar to the plot could have been fantastic but failed for lack of depth
and intensity.

While I enjoyed reading this and the story was okay, this wasn't my favorite book. The writing is meh and as a reader, I caught several inaccuracies from the text. There are several things that are off on the timeline of the text (events that happen, etc). I also found that I was able to easily predict the ending very quickly into the book. It is an easy enough read if you are looking for something fun and cute. I didn't hate it, I was just looking for a little more "oomph".
