Excellent, sympathetic and mostly balanced exploration of the people and events that brought together a creative, daring group of visionary activists in 1971 to form Greenpeace. Great archival footage of campaigns mixed with recent interviews and voiceover commentary from Bob Hunter's writing.
Especially as we rise to make more of these important changes happen, it is both helpful and inspiring to learn about how a small group of people were able to bring factory whaling to its knees and in Paul Watson's case, shed very necessary light on Cabada's seal slaughter.
[caution: heart-breaking scenes of whales and seals being harmed/slaughtered]
Make an evening of watching this landmark film with family and friends who are interested in how to better protect our shared environment.
Two definite thumbs up !

A rather long documentary about the founding of Greenpeace.

This excellent documentary follows the founders of Greenpeace from their early days protesting nuclear testing and chasing Russian whalers to their current roles in the global environmental organization. Highly recommended.
