With short, snappy chapters, this is a quick read. It is a simple, spooky ghost story I would recommend to fifth and sixth graders who like a little scare. The author includes interesting annotations which add (mostly) true historical detail to this otherwise fictional work.

A rather simple book with a ghost mystery. The chapters are super super short, some just two pages. Which give a rather disjointed effect and the sketches distrracted from the tale. It is about if you should follow in your ancestors footsteps or should you make your own way. And what is a friend.
