It's not often that a book bills itself as life-changing, and lives up to that boast- but this one does! This is an adorable Josei manga, a how-to manual for home organization, and a life philosophy, all rolled into one delightful little tome. The KonMari Method is actually a deep, philosophical interrogation of your life's path masquerading as a neat method of storing your shirts. I feel like Marie herself is part Mister Miyagi from "The Karate Kid", part Bodhisattva, and part cool friend you can show your most vulnerable side to without fear of judgement. This easy-to-read little tale of one woman's conquest of disorganization (in her apartment and in her thoughts) is the perfect modern parable for people who feel lost in the bewildering glut of things, ideas, and expectations that swirl around us in our affluent society.

This manga is so cute! The illustrations are great, and the translation flows very nicely. I actually read it one evening, then started it over again immediately. If you are a visual learner, or don't want to read Kondo's original book, "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up", but want a quick intro to her process, this is for you. Might also make a good gift for the manga-reading clutter bug in your life.

I have read all the Marie Kondo books and have whipped by house into gear. It's not perfect but I'm so much happier without the clutter. The Manga is a great read for kids who you want to teach to clean or someone who it getting ready to go to college and be on their own. I personal find that when I decluttered I had a good sense of personal joy and peace in my home and heart. I bought the book and I'm trying to get my daughter to read it. Hopefully it will work on her

I really liked this. it was nice to see drawings of all the folding. I think its more impactful to actually see a place getting cleaned up and how that affects the owners personal life than to merely read about how to tidy.

I read the original book and the manga doesn't really say anything new, but I am glad it exists because some people have a hard time getting into nonfiction, but this book feels like a story. its also a faster read if you are pressed for time, and if your place is a mess you probably are.

Fun manga. Great intro to the KonMari method if you haven't read her other books, but not as informative. The visuals are helpful.

Very good overview of the KonMari method. If you don't have time to read the whole regular text book, this covers most of what you need to know. (If you've watched the new TV show---this is much better for giving you guidelines and order of steps, although the show is good for examples and visuals). Cute drawing style too!

Absolutely wonderful read for when you've finished the books and want more. It's so adorable, that I wish Konmari would come out with more comics with different characters!

A charming way to introduce yourself to the principles of the KonMari method, or it's a lovely refresher if you've already read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. Adorable!

I thought this book would totally be boring. Boy was I wrong. It's actually quite helpful, if not entertaining, and fun to read. Manga is awesome!
