Following the events of THE HATCHING and SKITTER, millions of spiders are poised to take over the Earth. Meanwhile, the remaining humans are divided on how to face the arachnid menace.
Millions of spiders are poised to take over the Earth, and it's become obvious that they work as one. Among the government, there is dissent: do we try to kill all of the spiders, or do we gamble on Professor Guyer's theory that we need to kill only the queens? President Stephanie Pilgrim has gone as far as she can: more than two dozen American cities hit with tactical nukes, the country torn asunder. She believes in Professor Guyer... but Ben Broussard and the military men who follow him don't. What's more dangerous, the spiders or ourselves?

An excellent ending to the exciting 'spider apocalypse' trilogy. It was fun, exciting, a little creepy crawly and really by the end of it, a feel good series. I loved all the different characters we followed throughout the entire series.
Well worth reading the entire series even if spider's give you the creeps because who doesn't like getting the creeps every once in awhile?

A terrifying and suspenseful series by Ezekiel Boone. Although the ending was a little anti-climatic (due to the action and excitement present throughout these novels, I was expecting something more explosive and dramatic in the final chapters), it does provide a very satisfying conclusion to a saga that will rekindle your fear of spiders. As I stated in an earlier review, this series truly meets the definition of Arachnophobia on steroids.
