"The Oklahoman", 1957 stars screen legend Joel McCrea, along with Barbara Hale from Perry Mason. I never had a moment of encouragement, that the scene being shown is going to be exciting. McCrea portrays a doctor who has had enough of war after the death of his wife and I am assuming after seeing the effects of the Civil War (although it is not mentioned). But the story is meaningful because it uses the very reall distrust and enmity between whites and Indians in Oklahoma. Everything here seems to be to easy to predict. McCrea is 52 and although still in good physical shape his voice does nothing to bring youth to his character.
