This movie is EERIE!!!!!! Check this out

1. Dt. name is John Kennedy
2. he is dispatched to stop the President from being assassinated!!!!
3. The shooter(s) are to use a high powered rifle from a building on an upper floor!!!!
4. The plot is hatched by men in the government!!!
5. All this from a movie from 1951, coincidence or did someone get an idea from this movie while watching the late in the 1950's!!!!!?
6. There is a character named Ruby, yes Ruby like Jack Ruby.
This movie has a lot of clues too, one of the characters/actors is named Ruby, and another actor/character is named Greer, the driver that day in Dallas was Greer. From my perceptions
someone might have seen this movie and gained the idea to shoot JFK. Few people know there were attempts AND plans to shoot JFK in Chicago, Miami, but only Dallas was successful.

Let me add my praise of "The Tall Target" to the KCLS Librarians. This film has many outstanding performances from Dick Powell, Adolphe Menjou, and a young Ruby Dee. I sat there in amazement as this movie got more and more tense. It really has you guessing what going to happen up until the last few frames of the movie. Now I like a film that can do that every time!

Based on the true story of an assassination threat to Abraham Lincoln, as he travels to Washington for his inauguration. This classic film also includes an amazing performance by a very young Ruby Dee.
