The biggest plus for me in this book was the incorporation throughout the book, Old Testament through New Testament events, of God's love and plan for men and women and the restoration of their relationship with him.

Though there were several omissions and rearrangements (literary license?), the most offensive to me was the total lack of details over the night before the great exodus from Egypt. Every plague was mentioned but when it came to the death of the firstborn, the fact that the families of Israel's descendants were protected by the blood of a lamb, and that they had to eat hastily made bread without yeast was totally ignored. That was important information for the history of the people and carried through to the sacrificial death of Jesus.

Still, this is the only Bible Story book I have considered good enough to purchase for my personal library and for grandchildren.
