A fun and fast read. I imagined the whole thing as an anime. I feel like it teaches about relationships and allows for both simple and complex story lines. I hope she writes a sequel!!

Another reason to enjoy a novella today. Beach trip book? Shades of D&D. Some humor.

If this book was a meal it would include 3 types of cheese, some hot peppers, and something crunchy.

While not my all time favorite, this was an interesting, fun, and fast little read! I appreciated that the trans character's secret was more so about WHO he was (a member of a particular religious order) than the fact that he's trans, which wasn't necessarily even a secret. Also the man known for loving other men was into him, so I liked that the other characters and narrative all definitely treated him as male.
