This album has pretty angsty lyrics with repetitive themes throughout the tracks, but who cares? The transitions are awesome, the vocals and instrumentals are both powerful, and the album is just the right length with 11 great songs, a well-made Session, and a chilly Foreword.
This totally reminds me of a more polished/improved version of their first album, Hybrid Theory. If you love this, check out HT and The Hunting Party too (their other albums don't really do their rep any justice, so I wouldn't bother). 6.5/5 stars
