This book introduces Johanne Vik, a former FBI profiler and Police Commissioner Stubo. As the mystery begins, Stubo is investigating missing and later murdered children. He has learned to trust his own "intuition" and believes that Johanne must help him with the case. She resists and travels to the U. S. to attempt to interview a wrongly convicted Norwegian man who was released without explanation and is now living on Cape Cod. Stubo finally convinces Johanne to help him. The reader has to wait for a long time to find out how these seemingly unrelated events connect. The wait is worth it. Recommend the book. Kristi & Abby Tabby
