I genuinely enjoyed this book, and breezed through it in a day. It was fast-paced, funny, and relatable. I really enjoyed the family dynamics, and how our main character’s family was present rather than being mentioned and never seen again. I do think the relationship between our protagonist and his crush was a bit rushed, I felt as though it needed to be a bit slower-paced but nonetheless I was cheering for them throughout the entire book. I also really enjoyed the book writing class, especially as someone who wants to write a book one day. The main character was extremely relatable in the sense that his creativity in terms of his art was strongly influenced by his feelings, so much so that he couldn’t work on anything other than writing involving his feelings in a way.
